Easier access to capital
Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important part of how investors assess companies.
The EU has introduced new rules that require asset managers and investors to collect sustainability information from the companies they invest in. This is both to understand risk, but also to document how the capital they manage affects the climate and society.
To make this possible, investors need more structured information from the companies they invest in.
That's why the EU has developed the VSME standard - a common European format for sustainability reporting for small and medium-sized companies. The standard makes it easier for investors and asset managers to request and understand relevant sustainability information.
When companies are able to document this in a structured way, it becomes easier for investors to assess companies and compare investments.
Kimaa is developed in line with the VSME standard and makes it easier for companies to collect and structure this information.
