About Kimaa

ESG reporting is not just about meeting requirements, but also about promoting awareness of environmental (E), social (S) and governance (G) sustainability.

Kimaa-office-1

Kimaa is designed to make sustainability reporting easy and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses.

Founder Trude Tvedt has over 20 years of experience from the accounting and auditing industry. She previously built up the accounting firm Sherpa Økonomi, and has worked closely with small and medium-sized businesses for many years.

As a business owner herself, she quickly realized that the regulations for sustainability reporting were too complex for Norwegian companies. 99% of the business community in Europe consists of small and medium-sized enterprises. If we are to succeed in the transition to a more sustainable business sector, these businesses must also have tools that make reporting and analysis manageable in practice.

More and more businesses are being asked to document sustainability - by banks, customers, supply chains and in public tenders. Until now, this has been characterized by many different certification schemes, questionnaires and reporting forms, which has made it difficult for companies to know what they actually have to report on.

Kimaa's goal is to make sustainability work simple, affordable and a natural part of the company's decision-making basis.
